youth camp
{6:18 PM} okay. so just woke up from an ultra super long nap after coming back from the youth camp. :D it was super fun lah! maybe even more fun than seremban lor. except no dogs. but for those in my church who didn't go, here's how it went. 1st day reached church at 10. played some card game while waiting for the rest to arrive. then when they did come, we went to the basement youth room for some icebreaker games and worship and then we had the sermon. lunch was SUPER UPER DUPER nice. all my favourite foods. yaye. then came the workshop on peer pressure, bgrs and stuff. games. was next, like, this hula hoop game where we have to get the team players from one end to another by hopping in only 3 hoops. and then they had poison ball, and finally something like broken telephone, but we had to tell the message with water in our mouths. NEVER make me the teller. i spit water on people. (SORRY IAN!!!!) ._."didn't mean to. just couldn't stop laughing and then everything very messy and then finally the water comes out. lol. and there were really funny messages like: wo jing tian zao shang ba dian qi sheng ----- powerpuff girl die. simon likes christmas cos it is cool and nice ho ho ho ho. -------- nathaniel is cute. 0_0 mr hippotamus & mrs alligator took a walk in the park --------- mrs h and mrs a were playing in the pool. ( i forgot the original message ) -------- ah goo goo gooo goooo (gurgling sound) and then came dinner and then there was a REALLY REALLY NICE and COOL game, called mall of horror which was actually adapted from a board game. really hard to explain, so i won't. so we had to go to diff places, like the church office and baptism pool. and do a lot of activities, like searching for medals in a pitch black room( YAA BF) ,crawling under raffia strings in the shortest time without touching them. ( youth room) wow. audrey was so like fast lah - 8 seconds???!!! LOL. so we did many super uper duper nice stuff. YAY! youth rocks! after that, went to bed already (around 2am) 2nd day (most interesting) okay. so we woke up at 7.30, although we were supposed to wake up at 8.30am. had breakfast, bread with luncheon meat and scrambled eggs then had worship and workshop (although i wasn't really paying 100% attention oops) :D after lunch, we went street evangelism at orchard road. (wah. its the very first time we all did that lar) then at first we were like so shy then after a few people, we were more daring and did the survey then told them about God lar. about 3 people were interested to know more about God leh. yayes. after that, we played this SUPER UPER DUPER FUN INTERESTING AND NICE game. we were supposed to make a video at orchard road about the story of Christmas. so then we did all sorts of stupid stuff ( we were supposed to.) like, caleb kor kor had to act as pregnant mary, and then accompanied by daniel kor kor then he put a balloon under his shirt and took an escalator 3 storeys up in ngee ann city mall. then a lot and a lot of other STUUUPPPID things, like forming a star with our legs in the middle of the mall with people all walking around giving us weird glances. then me ian and clement were supposed to act as the 3 wise men and then go to the reception counter and act smart lah, like tell them that there are 53 toilets in ngee ann city. wah.SUPER pai seh leh! then besides that, we acted as sheep in front of ngee ann city, sang joy to the world in an out of tune way and a lot a lot of other things which i sort of forgot. so it was SUPER FUN LAH! the best camp i've been to so far. YAYE. when we came back, we bathed and took supper before talking and telling lame jokes and playing cards till 2 again. 3rd day we rose and shone (yeah), had breakfast and morning devotions, watched videos from the previous night and laughed at them too yeah. then they gave out prizes. (our group was last!!) sobz. but we had fun too anyway. so who cared? lol. and then we had thanksgiving(without the turkey) at the youth room and then everyone had to go up and say a word of thanks and say what we've learnt during the camp. yay. so we got this big tube of meiji chocolate gummies. super nice lah. i'm ADDICTED. okay.anyway thanks to all the people who made the games, spent their time and gave their energy for us. a GREAT BIG shoutout to all of you! yay! thankyyeeew. yay <333> i'm super camp sick lor . haiiz. btw, happy birthday ian :))))) <333 __________________________________________ |
