{11:29 AM} ohmygoodness. AAAHHH. i am so retreat sick. D:( sigh. I WANNA REVERSE TIMEE. !!!sheesh. okay i shall start from the beginning. 1ST DAY on sunday morning, went to church as usual, watched the childrens' camp photos during the childrens' sunday sch. and THEN. after lunch we went into the car, getting ready to drive there. our car followed uncle chungtat, uncle anthony and uncle francis's, then it was really quite fun, cos the speed limit was 110km/h, and then because uncle chungtat was driving so fast, and we had to keep up, my dad kept exceeding the speed limit. oh wells. and then we opened all the windows, while driving at that speed. OHMAN, fun lah. yeah. so because we were driving at that speed, we reached there in 2 hours; and took half an hour to get to the hotel so it was around 3 by the time we got there, and 3.30 by the time we checked in. whooooo. the hotel was nice man. it was considered 5 star in malaysia, haha, but probably 4 star in singapore. :3 i was supposed to room with audrey, but then they exchanged, so i ended up rooming with eunice. YAY. she was really nice lah. so at 6, we went down for dinner. after dinner was Dr Lay's talk. and ian was sitting behind me. and HE (or someone) KEPT KICKING MY CHAIR. (kicks chair) (i turn around) me:" whaat?" ian: "it's HIM!" (points to en yong) en yong: "him!"(points to josiah) josiah:" him." (points to ian.) STUPID RIGHT?! haha. boys are just plain irritating, and funny at the same time. so i only managed to listen like, 3/4 of the talk thanks to the people behind. pffft. it was 10 by the time they finished, and then we went back to our rooms to sleep, but then eunice wanted to go and study downstairs, so i was left all alone. and then i decided to go to my parents' room and sleep there. ah wells. :D 2ND DAY. okay. so i woke up at around 6.45, and went down for breakfast at 7. i ate 2 bowls of cornflakes. ahaha; and after that was worship, so kelyn and i were guai people and went to go and attend it. then ian wanted to show me the video he took in childrens' camp, (my group's skit) so he told me to go to shaun's room, where they were. then he showed me there. haha.FUN MAN. then i hung around, watching them do stupid violent things. suggestion of the day: boys shouldn't be allowed in a hotel room by themselves without a mature adult. poor cleaners. they had a hard time. they: -jumped on the bed -threw pillows around -ATE on the bed -dumped blankets at each other -did gymnastics on the bed. -AND, basically messed up the whole room. ARGH. and ian accidentally did a REALLY EMBARRASSING THING, which i shall not mention for the sake of his privacy. ian: (does really embarrassing thing) me &shaun: "OHHH!!!" ian: (hugs a pillow and screams) ian:"DON'T TELL ANYONE AH!!" shaun: (ponders) me: runs to the door, "OH EVERYONE!!" ian: "OIIII!!!" haha. oh man. it was seriously embarrassing okay. haha. who go and ask him be so violent. acccck. and then my mum wanted my jacket, so i went to my room and brought it down for her. and they followed, and ian started jumping on the beds, INCLUDING EUNICE'S. D: and very-goodly, he kena scolded by her. HAHA. so i asked them to come out and go to another room. so then we had fun until lunch. after lunch, me kelyn carita & claire were gathered at claire's room, cause we arranged to meet there before going swimming. and then we went swimming, and all the boys except amos and ian went too. it was so fun! later on, all the boys except shaun and wayne went SHOPPING 0_o, and ah bee and ian came AH BEE was so cute! she kept wanting to slide down that "so-called slide" so fun lah. then claire couldn't reach the bottom of the pool, so i had to keep carrying her when she got tired of swimming. i like claire's swimming costume. ARGH. ian and shaun kept laughing at mine. i shall just bring the other one next time. luckily, i wore a shirt over. managed to swim a bit, but i was mostly playing most of the time. then shaun and ian asked me to go to shaun's room again after the bath. and then i was halfway bathing, when i kena chased by ian LAH, calling on the phone. RRINNNGGG ian:"you coming yet? me:"er. no. i'm in the bath." ian:"HAHAHA." me: shaun's room issit?" ian:"yeah." so at shaun's room, played uno, watched teevee, listened to music. i was SLEEPY. so i stoned on the bed, hugging a pillow. went down for dinner at 7, cos we thought it was at 7, but it was at 6.30, so we were late. after dinner, i went up to go watch my teevee. haha, the 7 o' clock one, with lydia eunice and audrey. then it was Dr lay's message again after dinner, and then during the talk, i started feeling REALLY sleepy, like i kept nodding my head. and when the talk finished, i saw some guys at the back, sleeping on the floor. aha. so cute. 3RD DAY woke up at 7.30, and i thought i was late, but when i got down, i realised i was early; cos only one table was filled. ahhh. so, in the morning, it was Dr lay's talk again. and AGAIN, i felt so sleepy. after lunch, it was time to go home. SO SAD YOU KNOW. and then we were supposed to go off with uncle jimmy, uncle francis and uncle arthur, but kelyn's and ian's family wanted to go jalan. and my mum didn't want to. so that was the last time i saw them in the camp. ah wells. nevermind. so my dad and carita's dad went off together, went to Tan Khim Hock, and ate chendol and bought some stuff. yups. after that, i slept in the car until 4.30, and reached singapore at 5.30. and THERE YOU HAVE IT, my account of the ONE OF THE BEST CAMPS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD; leaders' retreat '07. __________________________________________ |
