{8:16 PM} The serenity of the tranquil evening breeze Dancing around her ebony hair, Picking them up and tossing them in gay waltzes, His scarf around her slender poised neck. They were seated on the cliff of a voluptuous mountain. Pale shades of moonlight filter through the infinite layers of clouds. The sky was red that night, A mid-summer night's trademark. The smell of dew, Infiltrating their noses. Rejuvenating their senses. The sky let loose, Breaking out in all its fury. Teardrops from heaven fell. On the humps that people call hills. God took a photograph; there was a flash of light. The fury beast of the sky shrieked. Rage burning in it's eyes, Extinguished by torrents of drops. It would not let itself be defeated; The beast lashed out with unmistakable ferocity, Ground smothered by flames. Jack and Jill ran down the hill. His arm secured around her waist. Vindicated, the beast is thrust back into the depths. Ground completely obliterated. The hills are clear again. Soggy marshes the only evidence. Charred grass obsolete. Jack and Jill ran up the hill, To discover that it was no longer there. oh man, i need to read more cheeem books. __________________________________________ |
