Esther is back from youth camp!

Had a blast, and I'm utterly tired.

Day 1 Thursday

We met in church at 8.30! The sec one girls were practising for worship, so me and joanne just stuck in the harp room, restringing chestnut, then at 9 plus we went to the youth room to gather with everyone, talked a bit. Then we gathered in our groups. Nat and Carita were in mine (yay). After that we packed our bags for Sentosa and took a train to Harbourfront, then to sentosa by monorail. Carita and I were acting bimbotic on the train (Wth hahaha)

Carita: "Ooh! The seats are orange!"

Esther: "Wow, this thing can move!"

Carita: "Like totally!"

Seriously the monorail was very cool B) Okay I sound like a mountain tortoise, but whatever k! Headed to the beach, then we had beach games. Fun, not bad. (: Captain's ball with waterbombs and Capture the flags, plus the "will you marry me game". Heehee.

Had lunch, spent sometime at the water's edge, plus frisbee, then we washed up and travelled to underwater world.

We had some briefing in the seminar room thing about sharks or something, then after a while we travelled to Dolphin Lagoon. Listened to another trainer talk; at one part, she was like:

Trainer: "So after a while the dolphins are trained to jump up and touch the balls."

{Momentarily silence}

Trainer: "Yeah and they touch the balls, not their balls."

{More Silence}

Us: "Uhhhhhh..okay."

Trainer: "Okay, er nevermind."

Such a silencio moment, Lol. 

Waited for a while, then slacked around, cos the show only started at 5.30pm? 

Talked, and some other stuff. 

Then finally the show started. 

Hahah, nice. (: 

Dolphins are kinda the cutest things in the world. 

With maybe a few exceptions, but still! 

We headed back to underwater world, and had our baths. 

Seriously, the bathroom is just like this container on stilts. 

It's a wonder it didn't collapse. D:

There was this pantyhose inside my cubicle, disgusting lah! D:

Then we had a tour of the underwater world,

It'd be ages since I went there.

I MISS MY JELLYFISH (:

They're pink :D

We had this quiz thing hhaha,

It was a mad dash around underwater world.

The touch pool was cool.

But the guys were bullying the starfishes!

They flipped them over,put them on rocks, picked them up and dropped them.

Amos to the starfish: "EH EH TRAFFIC POLICE STOP WHERE YOU ARE."

I like touching the stingrays. 

They felt like jelly.

We saw dory-darling. 

I like underwater world, eet ees kool :-D

Played taitee, (spspspsp)

Hahaha, then finally they switched off the light in the tunnel and everywhere.

So we hadda go to sleep.

We walked through the guys' part in the tunnel:

Guys: {Frantically raises torchlights} "WHO'S THAT!"

Hahaha and some guy was snoring like a cat, like seriously, "meow."

Hilarious, But it was fun, and we were joking that the travellator would start moving in the middle of the night.

Fell asleep at 2, after watching the fishes swim to and fro (it's really really nice and serene.)

Really. 

You kinda feel that you're drowned and dead in the bottom of the ocean. 

And it's peaceful.

Day 2 Friday :D

I WOKE UP TO CHRISTMAS SONGS PLAYING, AND KELYN SINGING.

Woaaaah we were all so afraid that the glass would crack and water would come gushing out.

Kelyn: "Noooooeeeellll, Nooooooooooel, {cracks at this point} no-ELLLL, NOEEELLLL."

For extra effect, the stingrays looked like they were dancing along with the music.

After breakfast we packed up and left for the bus.

Reached church, and had our dance workshop!

Giraffe kept looking at joanne during the briefing yoz. < :)

Then came the steps,

It was fun, and utterly fast.

I think I heard joints cracking though, heh. heh.

After lunch, we started on the amazing race already.

Super tired.

We were given clues and activities to do at each station,

so we ran from fort canning to the esplanade, to city hall mrt, to suntec and back again.

My group came in Third! (: Yayyayyayyayyayyayyay

I think some people were kinda irritated with us though,

cos we kept running around and doing stupid stuff like singing in public places and making a lot of noise ):

We just pushed our way into a completely full train full of clean office people.

And we were sweaty and smelly.

We were stinking up the train can!

D:

And then with every bit of energy we chiong-ed back to church, all the way.

My muscles ached like mad D:

But it was fun! (:

We had the night sermon, and watched the Passion of the Christ.

It really touched me so much I cried lots when watching the video.

Then they had an altar call, 

Images of Christ on the cross kept flashing through my mind.

And as I worshipped, I really thought of how great Jesus was to do that for me.

Cried bucketloads.

We had supper, then prepared for bed already.

James was kiaping Kyser la! (ew.)

Day 3 Satz

Woke up, and had even more terrible muscle aches. (Augh)

Morning devotion, and then it was sermon again.

After lunch was free time.

We had captain's ball, but were kinda useless anyway.

We got our Ben and Jerry's (Ah.)

The guys were playing truth or dare,

and we were sitting a few tables away,

So we kinda got dragged into the picture.

The guys' dares were the ultimate.

Zhiwei got put into a dustbin and covered up (twice.)

Zhiwei was dared into putting on hot red skinnies with shirt tucked in and doing jumpingjacks. 

Kyser was dared into taking a picture with Nat and making a heart sign with their hands.

Caleb was forced to cam-whore as a twit with the girls (us.)

But totally fun to watch (:

We bathed, and moved up to the sanctuary.

Then we had our Youth Rally, and totally got high on Jesus.

Really, How great is our God.

We went home in the end, (:
